Did the physician document the procedure? If it is documented, hard to argue with whether or not it was done. If it is not documented, show the doctor resources that state that services cannot be billed until they are documented. Get the office manager involved if needed.

Thank you. It doesn't really say but I do know it would definitely be fraudulent to document if there is no evidence.
