Hi,
Can anyone help me with the guidelines for diagnosis for work comp?
On an E.R. report are we required to report chronic conditions that are not related to the injury? The following diagnosis appear in Past History Suicidal Ideation and PTSD. Any thoughts would be appreciated.:o
 
The dx must be the one that has been approved already by workman's comp. I found that they prefer sprains and open fracture codes, when there were no such thing. Yes, put on the blinders.
