Wiki Wound Care Coding - Healed Ulcer

I am new to wound care coding and need some help please.
Per the documentation (outpt setting) provider states "In my opinion has healed her left 4th toe diabetic toe ulcer. I did selective debridement with a curette removing this eschar and slight amount of slough".
As a coder I've always been taught to NOT code resolved conditions.
How do I code the DX since a selective debridement was done (97597) on the healed ulcer?
I was going to pick DX 250.00 and V67.9 for follow up care for the healed ulcer and downcode to 250.00 since the ulcer is healed. Should I pick a wound DX 893.0 instead of the V67.9?
Please need your expertise! Thank You

As the doc is still debriding the ulcer I would code this with the 97597 for a skin level debridement of slough/eschar. I would still code the diabetic ulcer as an active condition as he is still treating it as such. 250.80(assuming type II) and 707.15. A diabetic ulcer should never be coded to an open wound code.

Hope that helps :)
