Does anyone have any experience with wound care and/or hyperbaric coding, or know anyone who does? We're looking for some help with appropriate coding techniques for a hospital owned clinic that performs wound care and hyperbaric dives.

My physician preforms services at a hospital owned facility and I have a good repore with the director. If there are some specific questions, I will be happy to ask for you. :)

wound Care Hyperbaric

CPT 99183 is used for physician supervision and attendance and HCPCS C1300 is used for the actual procedure itself. Some insurance co require authorization or precert. You may need to call insurance co and add your physician to the auth or precert.
