If there is a separate procedure note for a Total Contact Cast after a Debridement note, can you still code the Total Contact Cast?
One answer I received was NO they were MUE, cast included with debridement or vice versa (in which case I would need to know which one to actually bill for...I was thinking the Cast....)
Then I found an answer that said YES they can be billed together, w/ modifier -59 appended to the TCC (29445)....??????
Can't find specific guidelines for this in CPT book...any help appreciated!
