does any one do wound care I have a qucik question

for Debridement of a AKA of skin wound edges of 25 x 0.5cm and pulse lavage with 2 l of saline.
and wound vac placememnt for 25 x 3 x 3cm on the wound

I thinking this is code 11042 and the code for the wound vac 97608
 
Do you have an operative report, or is this it? There isn't really enough to appropriately code unless you have more detail available in the record. 11042 requires debridement of subcutaneous tissue - you don't have that documented here, so that code can't be used with just this information. Selective debridement of skin only would be coded with 97597 or non-selective with 97602. 97608 is correct for a wound vac if it is a disposable device, but the placement of the wound vac is bundled to the debridement, so should not be reported separately unless it is for a separate wound.
