I am learning to post wound care codes and so far so good for an Internal Medicine outpatient clinic, but the question came up about charging for certain dressings. Can this be done at our location/POS or is this inclusive to the code for wound care? Also, we perform wound care at a Nursing Home, would there be an option for charging for certain dressings at this POS? It is hard to find information online, I watched a webex through AAPC but that didn't clarify the dressing charging. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
