Question regarding usage and wastage of Apligraf...I know that with Medicare you can use a -JW modifier to show the amount wasted but does anyone know how wastage should be billed to commercial payers? The Apligraf comes in units of 44 and the rep states that we should bill 44 units on each patient to cover the amount used and wasted but that does sound correct to me. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.
