I have a new physician on staff who is being asked to do a consult on a patient for wound care. The physicians is seeing the patient in the hospital and doing wound care at that time. How do I bill this to the insurance carrier since another physician is doing a follow-up visit on this patient one the same day my physician is doing wound care?:confused:
