The ER phys performed the following procedure on a post op wound. Would someone be able to tell me if 95957 is the correct code? The surface area of the wound is not documented either. Appreciate any assistance!

Procedures
Irrigation and suction was used to remove blood clots from wound which was oozing blood. Packing was replaced with pressure dressing. Case discussed with Dr Magnusen who recommended Gelfoam. Wound did continue to ooze, thus the packing was removed. Lidocaine 1% with EPI was infiltrated, wound irrigated again. Bleeding was much better controlled from the friable tissue. Gelfoam was placed into the wound with dressing of 4X4's over this. Patient has been ambulating in the ER with no further bleeding. He is instructed to return here for recurrent bleeding other wise is to follow up at wound care Monday.
