During the global surgical package, can the surgeon of record, bill for ongoing wound vac care/replacement, in office, if same surgeon originally placed it at surgery. So, another words, bill cpt 97605 when patient returns to office for post op wound care , or is it considered global?

Under Medicare guidelines, complications of the surgery are not billable without a return to the OR.
Per CPT guidelines, complications are billable.
All my contracts state Medicare guidelines will be used.
Medicare has/had a great resource for the global surgical package, but is currently under review https://www.cms.gov/outreach-and-ed...oducts/downloads/globallsurgery-icn907166.pdf
Here is my saved version prior to review
