I have a provider who does a wound vac after an excisional debridement. I'm torn between coding from the 11xxx vs 159xx when done on the sacrum.
Operative Procedure:
Excisional debridement, sacral decubiti, 12 x 10 cm full thickness skin, fatty tissue fasciotomy sacrum, application of wound vac.

I originally coded 11043 and 11046 x5 and the 11046 was denied due the amount of units was to much. Should I have used the 159xx code with a -52 modifier?
