Wiki Wounds and VAC-assisted closures

We are an anesthesia practice, and we often provide anesthesia for VAC-assisted wound closures (97605/6). Usually, there is debridement scheduled as well, for which we bill the appropriate codes for anesthesia. However, in some cases, once the surgeon assesses and decides there is no need for a debridement.
The VAC codes do not crosswalk to ASA, so I have been billing with the 01999/unlisted, which I understand is not optimal.
Any suggestions on what can be billed from a surgical perspective? There are wound exploration codes, but these appear to be only for trauma/gunshots, etc.
Thanks
