so here's the thing whats the best way to code for a wt ck if the child is under 8 days. I see under V20.32 wt check but this is not stated under the V20.31.
I have a patient that is just under the birth wt., I dont think wt loss is the best code 783.21.
What about 764.0* infant under wt for gestationa age? I always get stumped on these wt cks. and I want to be consistant with my coding. I know there is also newborn FTT code but thats is not mentioned. Any suggestions would help.
