Scenario: When a patient comes a day prior for x-ray and then has a telemed visit the following day and he/she discusses the results during that visit, how do we bill the x-ray? The x-rays are in our facility and read by our physicians the following day. Can the physician bill for the technical component and the professional component the day of the telemed visit or do the technical and professional component need to be billed separately according to the date of service?
