I work for a billing service, we will do a new billing for x-ray, & I have never done this billing in the past. Can anyone give me some tips? Thanks!:
 
Know your CCI edits and be carefull to read the reports thoroughly to match the appropriate CPT's. Will you be doing only "plain film" or will this involve fluoroscopy and other modalities under the Radiology umbrella?
 
I have been coding for radiology for over 11 years. Read up on CCI like the above poster had said and make sure to communicate w/ techs and drs if you question any procedures. Interventional is a whole other monster. Ask questions if you need any help.
