Hello! I know that when billing for the XEN stent you can use CPT 0449T XEN gel for internal approach and 66183 XEN XE for external approach which isn't FDA approved. I have a doc that is using the XEN gel stent external approach and wants to bill it as 66183. According to the AAO the XEN gel stent is 0449T and XEN XE is 66183. How are others billing this when the XEN gel is being placed externally?
