Hello,
do anyone have any information on how to bill this if multiple injections?

Example:

Each injection of Xolair the patients receive is 150mg. Therefore if a patient received two injections – each one will be 150mg. A single injection will be the 5mg x 30. How should we code these. Usually a patient receives more than one injection.

xolair injection

if you search "xolair" in this forum there is a thread on this very subject in 2008(different admin codes) which provides a lot of info. My question is anyone having difficulty getting the subq administration code reimbursed(pt brings in own med). Federal BCBS paid on 90772 on this person's account many times and as soon as it changed to 96372 it's being denied for medical necessity????
