If a member is seen for their wellness visit and sent for Lab work what code would be used? Z00.00 is being denied

You need to use screen Z codes for those that are screening, or drug monitoring Z code for those are ordered due to medications.

Not all screenings are going to be covered as preventive. You may want to get a list of covered screening labs.
