With the newly added expanded codes this month for Z36, what is the consensus on what code should be used for the basic OB blood work that is ordered at the first visit "prenatal profile" as some call it? I'm thinking Z36.89 but would like to hear what others are using now.

I would agree that if this is the routine screening and standard lab work and there is no risk or suspected condition that Z36.89 would be appropriate.
