I wanted to know if anyone uses Z99.89 "Dependence on other enabling machines and devices" for patient use of walker or cane. Want to make sure I'm coding it correctly. Thank you!
 
Makes sense to me as the next closest dx code would be dependence on wheelchair and it's definitely not the same as walker or cane. One could argue that either a walker or a cane are a "device". Particularly a walker.
