We are trying to get a predetermination for a newly approved drug Zaltrap for colorectal cancer. The patient has Aetna and I have been working on this for going on 3 weeks. Aetna keeps transferring from one dept to another. They employees are so incompetent. Finally our Aetna rep got the request to the medical director. Has anyone else given this drug yet? Does anyone else have problems getting prior auth for drugs with Aetna.
