Summary

The provider performs ablation of one or more tumors in an organ other than the liver or prostate using irreversible electroporation. This is a minimally invasive procedure where the provider inserts a probe through the skin (percutaneous approach) to reach the tumor. The probe delivers very short but strong electrical pulses that permanently disrupt the tumor cell membranes, causing the cells to die without using heat or freezing. Imaging guidance is included in this service.
