In this procedure, the provider performs a revision arthroplasty of the shoulder joint. He revises both the glenoid and humeral components. He may use an allograft to perform this procedure. The provider performs this procedure to remove and replace a loose or damaged prosthesis before it does irreversible harm to the joint.
