The provider repairs a fracture of the shaft of the radius in combination with displacement of the two bones in the forearm at the wrist, or distal radioulnar joint in an open procedure. He makes an incision to repair the fracture and the dislocation, applying hardware for stabilization, as necessary. He repairs the triangular fibrocartilage complex cartilage, or TFCC.
