Summary

The provider repairs part of the thoracic aorta (the main artery that carries blood from the heart through the chest) using a branched endovascular graft system, also called an endograft or stent graft. This system includes an aorto–aortic tube device with a fenestration (a designed opening) for placement of an additional stent graft into the left subclavian artery (a branch of the aortic arch). The graft may also be extended downward toward the celiac artery, as needed. The service includes preprocedure sizing and device selection, all nonselective catheterization, selective catheterization of the left subclavian artery, and all imaging guidance and interpretation needed to complete the repair. Balloon angioplasty within the treatment zone is also included.
