During a primary procedure on a patient's dialysis circuit, the provider finds an obstructed central segment, which he dilates and then places a stent through a catheter and into the vessel lumen (channel) to maintain its diameter. Radiological supervision and interpretation for any imaging procedure required to carry out the intravascular stent placement is included with this code.
