Voiding cystourethrogram (VCUG) is also known as micturating cystourethrogram (MCUG). This is a technique which is performed to detect reflux by watching a person's urethra and urinary bladder during his or her micturition.

The test is performed in a hospital radiology department or in a health care provider's office by an X–ray technician.
