Can someone please help me?......I was wondering what DX code I should be using when a pt comes into the office for lab results...Thanks

Can someone please help me?......I was wondering what DX code I should be using when a pt comes into the office for lab results...Thanks
Depends on what the labs were for - I'm assuming that they turned up positive for something? Code the Dx based on the lab results. Don't forget - you can't get reimbursed for an E/M, if all you're doing is discussing lab results with no further counseling/coordination of care being provided during the encounter.
