Help! I am trying to complete a coding assessment for a job and I don't have access to any encoder software, or coding books. I need to assign APCs to each of the cases I code, as needed. I have literally spent hours looking for this information online and cannot find anything that lists the APC groups. Any suggestions?? Thanks so much.

APC stands for Ambulatory procedural classification system. It is a system for outpatient facility reimbursement. It is much the same as DRGs for inpatient except instead of being grouped by dx code it is based on CPT code groupings.
