Require one clarification regarding TC modifier.

When we bill for only technical component of a radiology service, does contrast materials included in it or do we need to additionally report/bill contrast codes?

Kindly advice and also the source material/supporting link.

When billing the TC component, the TC payment includes the technologist's service, the equipment used, the film and all supplies. The rule for this is found in the Radiology Guidelines. Specifically, I am a CPT instructor and this particular information is from my teaching materials by Carol Buck in the 2014 Step by Step Medical Coding books.
