I was trying to get some information on the following visit scenario (for Medical Director to reconsider the billing policy):
?Doctor sees a patient for PPD only. No ROS, no Exam, no MDM. Dx: 74.1? I believe we should bill with 86580 only. Doctor uses 86580 along with E&M code 99211 (as an indicator of a visit)?
Please advise on coding that, and, maybe, send some references, if you have any? I would greatly appreciate that! Thanks!
