Hello,

Can Chief complaint be documented within HPI as in the following example?

HPI:
27 year old male present with ear complaint for 1 day. Severity: mild. Aggravated by palpation. Nature: acute. Revealed by OTC medication. Positive fever, no couch, no ear.

Can I use "27 year old male present with ear complaint" as the chief complaint?

Thank you!
