Be a part of our regional Medicare Risk Adjustment (MRA) organization - deliver value and quality in a fast paced environment.

Humana is seeking a Learning Facilitator who will be responsible for the following:



Plan, conduct and coordinate all aspects of MRA education to internal and external partners including but not limited to:
•Possess, maintain and communicate a comprehensive understanding of Medicare Risk Adjustment, Documentation & Coding guidelines to both external/internal partners while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements & adhere to the MRA Compliance and Ethical Standards Policy
•Analyze reports in order to identify and report documentation/coding trends and opportunities and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure the providers documentation and diagnostic code selection are appropriate and to the highest level of specificity and make/recommend improvements as necessary, including system-view recommendations based on EMR scope
•Continually assess the knowledge and appropriate application of ICD-10 documentation and coding guidelines
•Leverage reporting benchmarks and MRA success measures to prioritize efforts
•Deliver content professionally by stating a clear purpose with objective(s) and goal(s)
•Demonstrate a professional and effective face to face communication style and address issues as they arise
•Act promptly in routine situations while building productive relationships and establish rapport





Qualifications


Role Essentials
•Knowledge of CMS processes and procedures regarding MRA
•Exceptional interpersonal, public speaking, and presentation skills
•Strong attention to detail and exceptional follow up skills
•Strong technical knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•1-3 years experience with Provider relations and MRA operations
•Be able to collaborate with various levels of the organization internally.
•Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills
•Local and ocassional overnight travel may be required, must have reliable drivers transportation and a valid dirvers license.

Role Desirables
•Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Education, Healthcare, or similar field
•CPC certified
•Must be willing to obtain the CPC-I through the AAPC.
