Scenario:
RN performs an office infusion while an NPP is in the office suite. Plan of care is by the MD who is not in the office suite. NP and RN are employees.

Can the office infusion be billed incident to the NPP?

At the top it states that the term physician is inclusive of NPP. Under office it states that in a group any physician may be present in the office to supervise. Since the definition here is inclusive of the NPP, then yes you could bill incident to under the NPP and be reimbursed at 85%.
