For anesthesia CPT 36620 is not a timed procedure. Although the documentation needs to state which provider performed the procedure (ex: anesthesiologist, CRNA, SRNA, surgeon). If performed by a provider other than anesthesia staff, it is not a billable service for anesthesia.
