Wiki Mitral Valve replacement and MAZE at the same time

Can you bill a MVR, 33430, and a MAZE, 33256 & 33259, at the same time and just put a 59 modifier on the MAZE codes? New to CT Surgery and having a bit of a struggle on some code.

Yes you can bill 33430 and 33259 as long as it is correctly documented.

Just wanted to add to your post that you would only use a modifier (51/59) on 33254 - 33256. Your 33257-33259 are add-on codes.
