Info on billing 63030 with 63047....any scenarios when this is ok to bill together
 
I do not feel that 63030 and 63047 can be coded together. One involves hemilaminotomy and the other laminotomy. If it is at two different levels, one hemilaminotomy and the other laminotomy it might be OK.

Hi Patsy,

Generally, one is used for tx of stenosis and the other for tx of herniation.
