In the state of Georgia are Anesthesia Assistant able to perform CVP's / PA Caths and be bill under them as the performing provider? We are receiving denials that this provider type may not bill for this service.

I tried looking to see if I see any specific CMS guidelines on this. We are receiving denials for Medicare

How did you code this service?
 
For us, it depends on the insurance. For example, BC doesn't recognize CRNA's to work alone so we always bill the anesthesiologist with BC.
