Is that comprehensive physical examination is mandatory to code Wellness visits?

I'm going to send you a presentation on the Medicare AWV - it is dated 2015 but is still valid.

The traditional Annual Wellness Visit is considered a "No-Touch" visit, meaning there is no Physical Examination component. Some payers have balked at this and allowed an add-on code to include a Comprehensive Exam to the AWV. These payers have their own rules, and usually only through their own Medicare Part C insurances.

In general, there is no examination included with the regular AWV.
