I got CPC-A certification from AAPC in April 2019. I am a medical graduate with extensive experience in healthcare. I want to do some volunteering job before entering into the real field because I don’t have any Coding experience. I live in Buena Park CA.

If there's no one near you, or they are not currently taking externs, I would suggest reaching out to billing services or physician offices in your area. Have a great coverletter prepared along with your resume.

Thank you Speroni, yes I thought of Project Xtern but none is near me as I am willing to volunteer but cannot afford to commute too far. Reaching out in person for physician offices is a good idea.
