Hello, need help, the claim is denying. The physician accessed the right femoral, then bilateral carotids angiograms were done followed by a selective angiogram of the subclavian artery. Finding were nonobstructive disease with no stenosis if focal areas of bilateral carotids. Subclavian had 90% stenosis. So direct stenting was then done on the subclavian. Would this be coded as 37236-RT, 36215-XU, 75710-26-XU and 36222-XS-50?

I think your a little short with your subclavian cath code. 36215-rt is the innominate artery. You need 36216-RT for the subclavian artery.

Thank you Jim. Good catch. I billed it as above with the exception of CPT 36216. :)
