Can the "T" toe modifiers be used to injection into the interspace on feet? I have a UHC claim denying.

Thanks

Generally speaking, with injections, you would use an RT or LT modifier. The T modifiers are for hammertoe surgeries, avulsions, and matrixectomies. If you are injecting into one of the smaller joints of the toe, then a T modifier would be appropriate. I am going to assume you are billing a neuroma injection 64455 or a destruction 64632 for which you would use the RT and LT modifier.
