Hi, I am looking to see if there is a cpt code to bill if a provider is just updating patient charts but not seeing the patient.

I'm pretty sure there isn't such a code for that since most think that it should have been done at the time of the encounter with the patient.

Look further into the CCM, chronic care management, code 99490 this might be what your looking for.
