I just got my CPC certification and passed my test. What is the best way to enter the field now to find a job? Preferably, I am looking for part time because I have a full time job right now and would like to do coding part time for extra income. Any advice? Companies to apply to? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!!!!

AAPC has information. https://www.aapc.com/medical-coding-jobs/
Linkedin and other job search sites, a recruiting company possibly. It may be contract work if it is part time.

I would also suggest searching the forums here for recent or relevant posts relating to the topic. Use search terms such as job, part time, billing, coding job, etc.
That is another thing I am wondering. I am searching indeed by 'medical coding' but wasn't sure what other terms that jobs may be posted under. I would be okay with contract work. I just want to use this as a "second job" or part time for extra income. At least until I build experience and can move to a higher paying, full time coding position.

You probably want to make sure you search postings within the past 24 hours or one week at the most, and filter by possibly entry level, part time, contract, remote, etc.
You can use words like edit coder, part time coder, CPC, medical coder, certified medical coder, etc. You have to be more specific and narrow it down.
You can always try the big insurance companies and big hospital systems.
I don't know this recruiting company but I know they always have postings. https://www.linkedin.com/company/aston-carter/jobs/
