Need to know how to bill 37242 as the performed a coil embolization in the anterior and posterior iliac artery. Two separate coils were used 10x7 mm embolization coil and a 14x16mm embolization coil in the same leg

You would bill one 37242. Coding tips for 37242 says only one embolization code should be reported for each surgical field. Interventional Radiology/Procedures book defines the surgical field as "the area immediately surrounding and directly involved in a treatment/procedure."
