What catches my attention is the words "Billing for pre-op exams". Pre-op exams are included in the surgical procedure.

Yes, we can do/bill Physical Exam with Pre-op exam. for example I used the Diagnostic (renal mass N28.89) code not the Z (Z01.818) code.

We are pediatric practice and our patients come to us for pre-op appointments before there scheduled procedures.
