How would I bill a PA assisting our MD in surgery?

For ex: If the provider is billing 58571 for her services would I bill the PA as 58571 - 80 or 58571 - AS?

We bill the PA under the provider's NPI.

TIA!

PA is a midlevel provider when he/she assist the surgeon we can claim for them with modifier- AS

you'd have to check with commercial payer policies to be certain, but it's correct coding to assign the -80 for an assistant surgeon and -AS to an assistant midlevel. So if they deviate from that, it should be noted in their policies.
