Finishing practicode currently and just wondering if anyone has actually landed a job post practicode and 80 hour instructor led course. I work for a large non profit healthcare company where most positions require two years experience but some just one. Being that im already internal I can apply to these positions before they go external to other with more experience. And our union could argue I have the collective experience required. So I ran my chances with doing practicode to remove my A. Im just curious if anyone has done the same thing and removed there A and had a company take them. Im aware they don't have to see this as real world and am only looking for responses that give me insight to experiences that individuals had.

Thanks in advance.

I have been wondering the same thing. I just finished my certifications, and I'm having difficulty finding an entry-level job. I'm about to start Practicode and planning to take a few workshops to build up my resume.
I totally hear you—and you're definitely not alone. So many new coders with CPC-A are in the same boat: trained, certified, and eager to work, but stuck in that frustrating loop where every job seems to require “experience.” I have been working with a community college in the area for internship opportunities for Medical Biller/Coder programs, when one of the ladies I know personally reached out to me with the same challenge like you are having. I hired her, trained her and mentored her all the way. The struggle is real.

👋 I wanted to share an opportunity that might help bridge that exact gap, thanks to that coder who's still with me. I am looking to gather a small group, train and hopefully keep!

Wishing you success on your coding journey! There are people looking to invest in motivated new coders. You've just found one. 👊
