Wiki IDTFs HCFA or UB-04
I work at a medical billing company that bills for IDTFs (Independent Diagnostic Testing Facilities), and they are billing with POS 11 on a HCFA. Shouldn't they be billing on a UB-04 and using POS 49? Wouldn't the reimbursement be greater if they billed as a facility instead of a doctor's...- ndickson1974

Does anyone out there have IDTF information on whether we can supply transportation for patients and what codes we would use to bill for this? One of our centers Docs needs this information and I would appreciate any help.- jgf-CPC
